Going Through TSA with an Apple Watch

I went through TSA today at McCarran Airport (LAS) with only an Apple watch and a driver’s license. Pretty amazing. I wasn’t worried, I had a hard ticket in my pocket and the boarding pass loaded on my pocketed iPhone.

The TSA agent had not seen one before but told me to put my wrist by the scanner and sure enough it worked perfectly.

Unfortunately American Airlines are not set up to use the watch as a boarding pass. Their ticket scanner is not flexible enough to fit my wrist under it to be read. Glad that I had that hard ticket to pull out of my pocket.

I can see that it is only a short while before that we will be using electronic tickets and payment systems as I bought a coffee and a bottle of water at the airport Starbucks using my iPhone, I had deleted the Starbucks app of of my watch by accident (intentionally) because I did not think that I needed it to use Apple’s Passport. It turns out that you do.

Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly?

My web site looks weird when browsing from my
iphone. I’m trying to find a theme or plugin that might be
able to resolve this problem. If you have any recommendations, please share.
